Autel MaxiScan MS409 Easy to use and highly functional

Autel MaxiScan MS409 Easy to use and highly functional.
After several trips to the emission test station with a car that was still "not ready" for the test, I bought this so that I could determine for myself if the car was ready. It worked great and will save me money and frustration every year.

  1. Works great! Used this tool daily fvdi at work for 2 years. The cable shorts out and it gets really finicky about communicating, but it's a relatively cheap part. Same cable as our Snap On Modis. . . I think it's an old school computer monitor cable, at least pin setup wise. Other than the cable, the lack of onboard battery is a bummer. . . but livable. For the price it's the best tool I've used. Better than the Genisys by far. Early 2000s KIA and Subaru cars sometimes don't like the OBD II connector. . . It's the connector in the car, they're cheap. Other than that, it's great. Reasonable Euro coverage as well as good Asian and US support. BTW update by putting the card into your computer, autel maxidas ds708 forum the tool's processor is much too slow. . . like days slow. Your computer will update them all in like an hour.
